Retailer Gains Strong Second Quarter

High-end retailers Nordstrom (8.1%) and Neiman Marcus (7.4%) reported sharp gains along with discount store chains Kohls (14%), American Eagle Outfitters (28%) and Abercrombie & Fitch (38%); apparently folks still want to focus on high-end, specialty and discount chains. Ann-Taylor was down 1.2% and Gap down 6% (WSJ)
